Leak Before Press (LBP) is a safety feature designed to make an unpressed fitting easier to spot. If a fitting has been missed during installation, it will allow a very small amount of water to escape during pressure testing (1 drip per second), helping the installer identify the problem before the system is put into use.

All Novopress press tools have a 2-year warranty, however if you calibrate your
tool at 12 months and 24 months, it will then qualify for a 3-year Novopress warranty.

The press jaw profile you need depends on the type of fitting you are using. Profiles such as M, V, B, TH and U are different, so it is important to use the jaw profile recommended. It is always advised to check the fitting manufacturers profile of jaw before intsallation.
